AS I SAID IF IT IS MUSHROOM SEASON ELSEWHERE IN EUROPE IT IS NOT YET THE CASE HERE, DRY SEASON LASTS USUALLY TILL MIDDLE OCTOBER, SOMETIMES LATER. MUSHROOM SEASON STARTS AT BEST MIDDLE NOVEMBER...

I COULD HAVE PICKED SOMETHING FROM MY ARCHIVES BUT ACTUALLY FOUND QUITE CHALLENGING TO TRY TO FIND SOME REMAINS IN NATURE.
IT WAS QUITE A CHALLENGE BECAUSE I ONLY FOUND THIS ONE AND MY DOG GOT INJURED WITH A BRANCH ON THE EYES, I HAD TO RUN TO A VET... ETC... NOW SHE IS UNDER TREATMENT AND WILL IMPROVE.

A FRIEND OF MINE SENT ME SOME PICS SHE TOOK IN PYRENEAN MOUNTAINS THOSE DAYS... BUT I DON'T LIKE TO CHEAT... SO YOU WILL HAVE TO ACCEPT THIS POOR REMAIN AS WHAT I COULD DO... UNDERNEATH THE SECOND PICTURE.SHOWS SPORES AND THE THIRD SHOWS WHAT THIS MUSHROOM IS LIKE IN FEBRUARY!

No problem Isabel, I also took a picture of my archives as here in town this is not very easy to find mushrooms, and this all the more because because we had no rain for weeks, but yesterday !!!
A very beautiful series anyway. My favor goes to the last mushroom which is splendid !

From archives just the three last ones in PIP, the main was taken last friday...
In town if it rains you can find sometimes in a wall or in public gardens close to trees, otherwise in markets... but not here at this time of year!
She is better now and at least pain stopped with the first treatment.

If you don't know them you wouldn't recognize them as mushrooms! As a kid I loved stepping on them to release the spores;-)

An alien you can only find less than a week in winter and just found one spot where they "landed"!!!
