It poured rain while we were there, so we ran for the big shop and didn't see an eruption of either geyser.

We were lucky, we had an half an hour break in rain and you will see during next days I caught the bubble and different eruption stages.... I feel sorry you didn't see it, and it is supposed to be summer over there!

That was really all we missed because of weather, so we couldn't feel too bad. The Eastern side of the country was pretty much off limits because of a volcano heating up next to the big glacier - they did not know whether it would send magma beneath the glacier so that would lift and cause catastrophic flooding.

I'd certainly go back any time.
