I prefer this version. Correct me if I'm wrong but the image has the appearance of green filtration. Whether this is the case or some fantastic chemical process that alters the tone. The tone of the foliage are opalescent in their radiance. I can't see it here but Neopan 400 (now discontinued} no doubt benefited greatly from your fenol stain developer. So much of a dominance of mid tone puts grain to the test in the image. I would think a gold tone is the warmest I would go in respect of the image character.Of course this is IMHO. I feel that beyond the aesthetic and technical considerations, your visualization made this image work.As well as a fine printer, you should also be recognized for the,"eye" which is the most important part of photography.

This is gorgeous! It reminds me of Chinese painting. I can't decide which toning I prefer - in my mind, they're both wonderful.
