Banteay Srei gopuram door

Banteay Srei gopuram door
It has been speculated that the temple's modern name, Banteay Srei, is due to the many devatas carved into the red sandstone walls.
Here shown a door with its lintel and the carved Apsaras left and right. The details are in excellent condition.
A gopuram is usually rectangular in form with ground-level sandstone doors, often richly decorated, providing access.
