Ernest Winskill had come to Canada in 1909 aboard the "Corsican", went out to Vancouver and then to Calgary. He went to the First World War and died of unspecified causes after it ended, on Feb. 5, 1919. As this page in the Virtual War Memorial indicates, he is buried in England www.veterans.gc.ca/eng/remembrance/memorials/canadian-virtual-war-memorial/detail/4024219
