Extreme winter sports to go on thin ice =D I read news about woman who drowned trying to save her dog from ice =(

Sad story, people just walk on the ice, it looks the same because of the snowcover.

Well, if you have one time see somebody who is breaking in (like me) and can´t help anymore than just calling the (professional) rescue you won´t ignore such warnings again. Everything went well with this guy, but it was shocking to see.
At first they are able to scream, but just a few minutes later they are just hanging on the ice and waiting for their rescue you can´t provide them... and you know you can take your bet how many minutes they are still able to hold the corner of ice.. Expecially when it´s already to thick to simple demolish it by (cold) hands when you are inside (and going "through" the ice to a safer spot...), but not thick enough to hold you (in wet clothes, at an already broken and not anymore pretty stable spot), with water on the top of the ice because of their rescue-trying...

Brr. Nothing bring me on frozen water until it´s more or less officially allowed and cars are selling their grog, tea etc. on it...
