Theodore

Theodore
My, oh my, has Theo been a blast. Rather than putting him into a room, I opted to expose him to the house from the safety of the cat tower. Theodore remained in the tower, his safe zone, for days. Then, finally, he started exploring. This morning, amazingly, Theo made it into the kitchen for breakfast. He comes out regularly, and we are rewarding his bravery with treats. Theo is a mutterer. I love knowing where he is even when I'm pinned down on the couch by Cumin, Curio, Jing, Zinnia, and Gumbo. There's such joy in witnessing the transformation from a skittish, outdoor feline, as he slowly gains confidence. Watching the other felines interact with us and the dogs has worked wonders, too. I'm impressed that Theodore is even willing to be out with Magnus at our feet. I am thrilled, thrilled, thrilled with how well this beautiful boy is adjusting.

I'm so happy to read this Jean! Your family (both humans and critters) work wonders with the animals that come in to your care.

Does that mean that Curio is still with you? This little furry friend is quite the handsome boy!
