My Bathroom

My Bathroom
As the basement bathroom was not ready and I had thoroughly cleaned my bathroom after transferring the wee Ranch kittens to a bedroom, the three guests landed in my bathroom. I tried to trap again last night, but the cold drizzle kept all cats away.

This morning I brought in a can of wet food and sat on my haunches in front of the carrier where these two hide (the big brute perches on the top of the shower at all times, or so it seems). I slid in some food which the fiesty orange and white boy sniffed then glared at me. But I persisted. The more timid black and white youngster was the first to lean in and take a bite. Then sat up and stared at me. Several minutes later, the orange and white one simply gave in and started eating. And soon he had company.

I haven't figured out the noises that the orange and white boy makes. It's a half gurgle, half purr. Or is it? He spends most of his time crying for his momma presumably. In spite of his rough and tumble self-expression, he's really nothing but a momma's boy. Too bad I don't have a momma for him.

Lynn Wen (pandadd), Peggy V have particularly liked this photo

The orange one reminds me of Romeo in looks and in the fact that Romeo cried a lot for a couple of days after I captured him.
