Waiting

Waiting
Heidi is waiting for just the right home. Someone who understands how desperately she wants loving; someone who can understand the journey to overcome occasional nips to say enough. This current state of confusion has Heidi basking in loving, giving a quick nip, then instantly begging for more loving. Hopefully we can extinguish her impulse to nip. Truly, Heidi has come so incredibly far. I suspect she will put her nips far behind her one day. This former feral absolutely amazes me.

I do hope she finds a forever home some day, freeing up a spot for another feral that needs your care and loving. I really do wish we were closer, I would take her in a heartbeat for my Mom.

Heidi has always seemed like a demure princess to me. Her coy tongue shots are always a treat. I hope someone can look beyond the occasional nips and see the beauty within her.

This is a beautiful shot of her - like a professional pet portrait photographer would take! If you have time, I recommend that you add her to the group Beautiful Dogs and Cats. I'll try to find a link for it.

It's funny, Phill and I had Ray lying between us in bed last night purring like a train. He was absolutely ecstatic so much so he rolled over onto us back.........but both Phill and I said there would be no way that we would ever chance smoothing his tummy like we do with Milu and Kaiser as we couldn't trust him to not 'take our hand off'. We know our limits with Ray and love him on his terms perhaps someone out there would do the same with Heidi

Heidi is so photogenic - you've taken some wonderful pictures of her. She truly has an incredible story. You elude to her journey in your description of her. Is there anyway you could somehow include something about how she overcame an awful injury and welcomed your attention even when you had to perform treatments that were most likely painful. I'm not sure how you could add that to her description but she truly is an amazing cat and has over come so much. I hope she finds a wonderful family that is appreciative and understanding.

Thanks, Kerri. This is the article I am linking to my advertisement: www.ipernity.com/blog/wee3beasties/494009. It gives more of her story. Trusting we will one day find Heidi the right home.
