I think this is a heron but could be an egret. These three pieces are not from the same photo.

These spirals were created using the ray tracer tachyon in Sage (www.sagemath.org), then stiched together using GIMP.

This was taken in front of my house last winter.

To be honest, I don't know what this is. I found it in some photos scanned in from my film camera.

Sliced up a lamp shot using GIMP, but I changed the hues one the different slices to create a kind of blue rainbow effect. Looks like a chest of drawers now, which was not intentional:-).

This is pretty much as it came out of the camera. I just cropped away a wall that was at the edge of the frame.
