composition in blue

This was, like it or not, time consuming. It was done mostly in GIMP, but Sage (www.sagemath.org) with tachyon, and some open source fractal program which I can't remember was also used. I'm not sure how well it will hold together over the test of time, but it is my 300th image posted to ipernity, I think. Whew!

The image was inspired by Kandinsky's Composition 8 (www.guggenheimcollection.org/site/artist_work_md_71_7.html).

Without looking at your text, I know it was inspired by Kandinsky. My favorite modern painter.. Very interesting. Not very found on 3D effects, but it is great here.
