Jeep Parking

Jeep Parking
This is as far west as you can drive into Death Valley National Park in the Nevada Triangle. From here the road is deteriorated as to be undriveable - even in a Jeep. I'm parked on a little saddle (7,520') situated between Grapevine Peak (8,738') which is 1.7 miles to the north-west and Wahguyhe Peak (8,628') which is 1.4 miles to the south-east. The California / Nevada line is 0.8 miles to the south-west. You are looking roughly north-east back into the Nevada Triangle from whence I came.

Check out the map for the exact location.

I believe we were up there, way back when. Have to do this eastern part again.

I'm thinking of taking a couple days soon and heading to the park. Might drive into Stella's.

Steve - That's the danger of places like this. It causes the Bucket List to get longer and longer.

I suspect you had to do a bit of serious jeeping just to get this far...

I'll say, "Yes," just so others might be discouraged to try. There were a few rocky spots to crawl over.

I hate it when you can't go any further. Jeep is looking good!
