Directions / Direcciones

It is often said that we all follow our direction. But when walking, you find that other people are the same as you. Similar problems, similar limitations, similar things we carry, similar wishes.
Are in life our paths so different?

Very often people are crossing their pathes. That's probably such a moment.

Tom, ... in a way, yes. This was when the first group of my pilgrimage was being formed. They are now friends, indeed. That was the result of crossing our paths.

I am sure many peoples pathes cross BUT am not as sure that we are all so similar :o) In a way I guess we all wan´t the same, peace and happiness PLUS some variations.... BUT as I get older and get to know more people it surprises me how different we all are... Thank God I might add.... Great picture and I love the way you make me think by writing all those interesting comments under your pictures :o)

Yes, I agree completely with you. I guess that this "Camino de Santiago" is already quite a special environment. In normal life, one tends to evaluate others by many things: age, social or economic position, and human being is left behind more often than what it should.

In this "Camino de Santiago" it is exactly the opposite. It is this what I wanted to highlight. Walking, all are the same. There's no age, interest for job almost disappears, no social positions at all. And what is left is human being. Within this, and with all our differences, we are all looking for the same. To walk in life, and to look for our soul freedom.

Takk fyrir for your visits! :-) I am really glad that you like these comments!
