It was when I arrived to Sintra, that I soon lost my way in the village. I decided to go up some narrow stairs, that seemed to take me in the right direction, ... never ending. And in a small open space there appeared this church, spreading silence and peace from its stones, and its special enclave. I looked around, and I noticed that this silence covered all this cozy place.
This was the start of an unforgettable day, full of special moments, ... only comparable to a pilgrimage.

Fue cuando llegué a Sintra, que pronto perdí mi camino en el pueblo. Decidí seguir unas estrechas escaleras, que parecían llevarme en la dirección correcta, ... sin final. Y en un pequeño espacio abierto apareció esta iglesia, desprendiendo silencio y paz de sus piedras, y su especial enclave. Miré alrededor, y noté que este silencio parecía cubrir todo este acogedor lugar.
Esto fue el comienzo de un día inolvidable, lleno de momentos especiales, ... sólo comparables a una peregrinación.
