Puzzle Bathroom

Puzzle Bathroom
Here is the bathroom set of tiny wooden puzzle furniture. Again, I was going for a 1910 feel. It's difficult to see in this photo, but the tub is painted the same way the pedestal basin is.

I think the blue divider thingo could be either for a full length mirror or a modesty screen for dressing. Whatever it is meant to be, I decoupaged a Mucha print on one side. The other side is painted, but otherwise blank, in case I do come across what it is for. I do like the print on it. Livens up the pieces!

Sweet little set and the decoupage sets off the screen/mirror nicely.

Thank you, Ladies! Mucha is my most favorite artist and I find myself integrating his art or his Art Nouveau style into most everything I work on, thus the little decoupaged print on the screen!

Regina, I just love it when you call my room box gang "the little band"! They sound extra cute when I hear you say it! I'm glad you like my color scheme for the bathroom. Blue and white always seems so fresh and clean :-)

Ah Joyce, I understand exactly what you are talking about. The trick is NOT to unpack all the puzzle sheets at one time. You gotta let a project like this sneak up on you bit by bit, so only reveal its enormity, one sheet at a time. It also helps if you bring out some of your most favorite little dolls who will fit in this furniture and have them lined up and staring at you with bright and expectant eyes. They either guilt you into making the furniture for them or they press all your nesting mommy buttons and you end up ACHING to make them comfy furniture of their very own. Sad, but true story ...
