Facu1[1]

Facu1[1]
This is a portrait-style doll of Facundo, made by Jorge, a doll maker in Chili who used my tutorial CD that I sell in my Etsy shop. Facundo is Jorge's grandson and he is going to present the doll to Facundo at Christmas.

Jorge's accompllshment is nothing short of spectacular. He had to translate the entire CD into Spanish before he could begin. On top of that, he couldn't get many of the supplies we have access to here in the United States; so he had to substitute. Even more amazing, is that Jorge designed the costuming himself without the use of my patterns. He and I were able to communicate via email and I tutored him when he had questions. Now Jorge is getting started on his other grandson's portrait doll!

This is the first doll I have seen made from my tutorial and I am so honored that Jorge has shared his beautiful masterpiece with me. He has given me permission to share his masterpiece with you!
