OOAK Portrait Mini 010

OOAK Portrait Mini 010
This portrait-style doll is just under 9" tall. Just like her full-size cousins, she is make of craft velour with a paperclay face, neck and shoulder plate sculpt. Her torso is weighted just like the big dolls. So far, (since she is a prototype) I've been able to joint her hips and knees and I know I'll be able to joint her shoulders and elbows.

My biggest concern is being able to turn those itty bitty fingers to make the same style of hand as the big P-S dolls. I'm going to give it my best shot, though!

I expect to be able to do the cloth-over on the paperclay sculpted areas and paint in the usual way. I don't think I'll lose much definition in the sculpted features.

Can't wait to fashion some of that gorgeous Tibetan lamb into a wig for her! I've tentatively chosen a "medium blonde" for the wig, I put the color in quotes because there's no way that color is medium; it's definitely a light golden yellow blonde.

I've pretty much settled on a costume; fabric and all. If all goes well, this wee little lass will be my first OOAK doll offering in my Etsy shop.
