From green to orange... the resulting dye is for textile/garment use, or can it also be used on wood?

In the end it turned deep red-brown, but surprisingly did not yield very interesting results when we tried to dye wool with it. I believe it could be used on wood too. I haven't yet had the chance to experiment much with lichen dyeing so it might take a while to learn the right combination and process to actually get any results.
