An incomplete rainbow, this time...

First “Balcony View” uploaded directly to Ipernity...

Strange atmosphere, isn’t it? Well, the sun in the picture actually is the moon. No tripod, but a very steady hand (resting on the edge of our balcony...).

This amazing rainbow seemed to rise very near to where we live, and to end somewhere near the veiled Alps, thus covering the whole sky. It faded after just a few minutes.

Nur selten in meinem Leben habe ich einen “vollständigen” Regenbogen zu Gesicht bekommen, und dieser war der erste, den ich photographieren konnte; das 24mm Objektiv meiner Sony DSC-R1 schnitt leider einen kleinen Teil davon ab, aber der Anblick ist trotzdem beeindruckend. In my life, I have rarely seen a “complete” rainbow, and this is the first one I could photograph; the 24mm lens on my Sony DSC-R1 sadly cut off a small part of it, but the sight is still impressive.

The weather report for Pentecost isn’t particularly promising, but who needs a weather report?

The Alps, last morning. They, once more, cost me a cup of coffee at breakfast. The tiny lights across the Isar river are the headlights of cars.
