LOL LOL LOL I love Robbie!!!

He he! Cute - what a clever character! I wish my dogs did that, they make excellent firestarters (the pinecones that is!)

This strange habit started some years ago. We had seen him cast interested glances at dogs who were carrying something (a stick, their own line etc.), and could guess what he was thinking: “I want this too!”
Soon afterwards he began collecting fir cones; somehow, he’s able to find them the whole year through.

Last week, he had great difficulty carrying a 1.5m long stick home, but he managed to do so! :-)

He he...! Tenacious little fellow! Marduk, the younger of my two Ridgebacks likes carrying things but he doesn't bring things home. His pal Leo, my friend's Yellow Labrador, loves "collecting" things and he has a storepile of treasure - toys, pots and anything else he has managed to find. :-)

What do you do with all the pinecones then?

They disappear ... discreetly. :-)
