Déjà Vu (p4220260)

Déjà Vu (p4220260)
It was around noon on 31-Mar-2005, in Shoshone, CA, when/where I met gasoline prices at above 3 bucks/gallon for the first time. Small village of Shoshone is situated on the southeastern edge of Death Valley, and next gas station is a few hours drive from there, so that wasn't such a big surprise. Then, almost six months later, about the same picture was seen here, in San Francisco. But by the end of that year prices went down to around $2.20/gallon ... Am I dreaming now, or is it for real?!
