Oh, thanks - I thought I'd set this to "private". LOL Was going to play with editing it.
It's a little shaken, isn't it?

Sure, but sometimes this adds to the charme of a picture! ;-)

I would maybe cut out the car roof and a bit from the right side, but nothing else.

I can't seem to hold the camera still long enough and I don't have a what's-it-called. Tripod. And the car that could have given me support was in a wrong place.

I agree on the right side, but the thing about the car roof is that it shows the size/height of the dome. If I cut it, I think I'll have to cut some of the sky too, or the pic will become unbalanced. No?
I'm an idiot editor. *grin*

Oh heavens, I'm not a photographer, either! I just take pictures, no matter what a real photographer would think about it, LOL! And you should do the same, btw. instead of listening to me, definitely! :-)))

I made a note of how I thought it MIGHT look better, but then again, see above ;-)))

I'm always grateful for advice. I'm an absolute beginner at photo editing, and the most complicated I can handle is Iper's PicMonkey.
Of course I listen to you. I'll try your suggestion. I don't have to save and publish. ;)

Ah - you tried it for me. I looks really good that way, Barbara.

So that's what notes are. Thanks!

Oh you didn't know about notes? We mostly used them as PiP (picture in picture), but now only paying members can do that, unfortunately. But they are nice if you want to pint something out in a photo (which I do very often).

I use -> GIMP to edit my pictures. It takes a little while to get used to, but it has the basic things I need most (correcting the white balance a bit and most of all cutting the unwanted stuff away from some of my pictures). GIMP is free to download, you may want to give it a try! They even have tutorials linked on their website, which helped me in the beginning. It's much better than PicMonkey, I think, because you don't need to be online to edit, and you can save your photos in the original size, right on your computer. I tried PicMonkey once, a long time ago, and I wasn't very impressed.

I didn't know about notes - I've been needing someone like you for a long time. VERY glad you're here!

I've had GIMP - had it recommended by a geek. I couldn't even get a photo in there; it completely confused me. I've had a graphic editor trying to teach me Photoshop - hopeless. Then a friend told me that Picasa was Photoshop for dummies - I managed to rotate a photo in it, that was it.
Those programs have "tools". Can't handle them (no, I can't use Paint either). And "layers" and whatnot. I'd need an additional B.A., and I think the two I have suffice. ;)
Believe me, PicMonkey is enough for me.

Well, why not PicMonkey then? After all, this here should be FUN, not work! ;-)

And thank you, I'm glad to help - just ask if you need something, OK?

I do use the Monkey. One of the car photos was cropped, for instance, and in another I fiddled with exposure and contrast until my husband's face became visible. It IS fun.
I used Picnik until Google snatched it, but I hardly had time to miss it until I came here. Iper is so much better for photos than Multiply ever was.

I will pester you ruthlessly. Thanks, dear.

Yup, GIMP is a good tool, but you need a bit of time and patience with self and software. :)

Actually, I like theat the lights are a little blurred.... kind of like they're vibrating with life.

As said to Barbara: I already have two B.A.s. ;)
I'm not saying it isn't good. You're not criticizing my choice of Latin grammar books. Deal?

I'm glad you like it. Yeah, when it isn't more blurred than this, it's OK. My first try was - well, not.
