New ride?

Edit: Oh now I see the title - it looks cool!

An absolute must - if you don't live in Germany, LOL!

But my parents had AC in their last car, too. They thought they never use it, but it came in quite handy - on three or four days over the life of the car! ;-D

I hate AC, and it's not necessary in Kashmir, but the fact is that my husband is in the tourist business and plans to take people sightseeing in this car, and they may expect it.
We need a heater in the car in winter, but I suppose AC can do that job too.

Oh, I was wondering about the boat you had uploaded the other day. Now it makes sense to me :-)

Yes, in that case, the AC is a very good idea! And this car seems to be perfect for hauling around luggage as well. I suppose every once in a while you will be doing that, too, like picking up people from an airport or such?

Perhaps. I don't really have anything to do with the business, but we certainly need all the luggage space we can get when we go to Delhi, not for going, but for bringing all the shopping back. :)
We own one houseboat that is run as a small guest house, and you're right, the shikara (boat) you've seen belongs with that, although it's also nice to have for our own outings; we're a big family.
Then we live in another houseboat of a somewhat different type, and my mum and bro-in-law with family have a small house built on poles.

It is so nice to have family close by! I did never have any family around, until we moved to Tennessee. All my Hubby's family lives here. We go over to my sister-in-law's house every Monday. She cooks, I bake, that fits us just fine, LOL! And there's always someone else coming for dinner. They bring additional food, and we talk a lot, so it's never boring.

Oh yes! And I always take some bean soup and corn bread home for my husband's dinner on Tuesday. It's a tradition: He LOVES bean soup, and I don't have to cook on Tuesdays, either :-)

Lol - you hate cooking.

I don't really hate it, I just have to be in the mood! ;-)

But I definitely prefer baking!

And you can't make me bake. Nope! Except pancakes and tortillas and that sort of things.

Then we would be the perfect match, too! ;-)

True. Think of all the delicious snacks we could eat while you taught me photo editing and Iper and such things. Wanna learn ancient Greek?

Heavens no - I'm still stuggling to understand the Hillbillies around me! ;-D

Then I don't know what to offer in return for your teaching. Knit you a sweater?

Not really - how about a boat ride on the lake? :-)

YES - and a ride in the new car.

Sure, that would be nice! :-)
