Through the metal plant

This was taken on the meetup organised by Andy in the morning of 29th March 2008.

Unfortunately my manual focus lens seems to cause the camera to over-expose. I have no idea why as yet, maybe it's me and I need to learn how to use it.

This is one of the few photos that are not over-exposed, not blurry and has little noise.

I have learnt how to compensate to get a good exposure from the lens, normally it takes a negative 1/3 (sometimes a 2/3) exposure compensation to stop it over exposing.

My kit lens is the opposite, I have to use a positive 1/3 to get it to go to the top of the histogram, normally I just leave it and adjust while developing the RAW file.
