Genau Roland - die rhythmischen Strukturen (Ortsfrequenzen) werden von manchen Leuten auch akustisch wahrgenommen - ein Effekt der Synästesie.

Manche Synästhetiker ordnen bestimmten Klängen auch Farben zu...

Leider ist sowas nur schwer zu visualisieren, ich finde das aber sehr interessant. Wenn ich mich richtig erinnere, dann hat der Maler/Zeichner/Bühnenbildner und Kostümdesigner Oskar Schlemmer einmal eine Bach-Fuge gezeichnet - das Ganze sieht fast aus wie eine Architekturzeichnung.
