this is just surreal!
cool compostion and the sky adds drama

Thank you Patrick, this was one of those occasions when I came to a scene and it struck me so hard that I just had to stop immediately (I was just driving by without the intention to take a picture) and make that photograph.

A similar moment happened when I opened the image file on my computer, and I found I had to do something to the sky (It's the real sky, but it wasn't as dramatic in reality).

Hehe - das Bild habe ich mit einem Super-Weitwinkel aufgenommen und per Perspektivkorrektur veredelt. Das ist in meinen Augen Manipulation pur, denn es vermittelt eine Illusion von Weite, die an diesem Ort in Wirklichkeit gar nicht vorhanden war. Es kommt immer darauf an, was man weglässt - wie nah das außerhalb des Bildes lag, interessiert dann später niemanden mehr. ;)
