Das Berliner Ensemble ist eine der bekanntesten Bühnen Berlins. Es wurde 1949 von Berthold Brecht gegründet. Seit 1954 spielt das Ensemble hier am Schiffbauerdamm. Das Gebäude wurde 1892 eröffnet.
Durch die Pandemie dürfen Bühnenkünstler nicht vor Publikum auftreten. Es ist ein schweres Los! Die Künstler haben kein Einkommen und ihnen fehlt der Kontakt zum Publikum und deren Anerkennung. Auch mir fehlen kulturelle und künstlerische Veranstaltungen. Aber das größere Problem haben die Künstler. Wollen wir hoffen, dass die Immunisierung durch Impfung ein normales kulturelles Leben wieder möglich macht.

I enjoyed all three pictures, thinking about your words and the unhappy situation for anyone who needs the public to survive. More than that, people in the theater need an audience for validation and a point to be there. It must be miserable for these folk. Hopefully things will change for the better once we all have a vaccine...but I just don't know. :*(

Sadly it is the case everywhere Wilhelm. My daughter is in the business and has little income, other than government assistance to the self employed. Yet she is still working for the future though, but it will only pay in the future! Take care and work towards getting everyone vaccinated.
