Molly..... this is about the first time ive seen her from the other side of the canal, since we bought her..... Shes 25 tones of steel. No plastic here..

The steel is sprayed with expanded foam insulation about 2 inches thick.. Shes powered by a 2.5 liter Perkins Diesel engine.. With Diesel also being used for the heating...Electricity is supplied by a 2.5 KVA generator and a 1.5Kva Invertor.

Looks plenty comfortable. Any chance you could convert it to bio-diesel? Then just pick up used cooking oil from all the pubs along the way....

Dunno about Bio diesel,,, it causing a lot of issues... I can see us using all agro land just to keep our cars and lifestyle going....

The amount of diesel we use is actually pretty small.. but eventually, ill go for solar for propulsion as well... In the summer you get about 3 days cruising... Which is cool... I reckon it will cost about 5K pounds...

some thing for the future, at the moment i need to get some solar for the computer, and refrigeration, which we dont have at the moment.. this is the next thing on the list ( along with a push bike and wheel barrow) ..But i need to get web access on the boat...
