Fuji S3 12mg image editing on windows EeePC

Fuji S3 12mg image editing on windows EeePC
Yes.... Eeepc running windows, and editing a 12mg image....
Application Meta creations painter 5.5.. my fav image editing prog... runs on a 486.. still beats Photoshop on certain jobs...

photoshop 7 also works well... Asus windows drivers are extremely stable, making windows running on the eeepc a very stable platform..

Im now in a position to shoot & and upload 12mg jpg's images on to the eeepc and then upload to the web via wireless or 3g connection... this means that this is ideal for molly, and using a network / web connection to drive the printer down here in Salisbury... cool !!!

Painter, why like it. and whats better... what a question..

Sorry i'm not being fair to photoshop, Its a painting program, and its used in conjunction with photoshop, however the downside of this program is that it gives the ultimate tool to bastardise photo's. However it can be used to wonderful effect in the right hands.

But I use it in the same way as a background painter, in films.... i if you can see its painted on the screen you have f****d it.

0... it was freee
1... very small install size.
2... runs on anything from a low end 486
3....Brushes are more, subtle than photoshop's.
4... Set of dedicated photo tools, +/- value. =/- saturation, dodge, burn, soften etc.etc. these are applied directly from the brush, you would have to use blending in photoshop to archive this.
5... Its thee grand daddy of natural media... they really got it right first time.. corel have bought it and reworked the interface, but essentially its the same core functionality.

Corel do a 30 dy evaluation....
