Dead End in London

Dead End in London
If my memory is correct , I was trying to find the HMS Belfast on the south side of the River Thames when I came to this dead end. The graffiti that looks like it was stenciled on caught my eye and I took this photo. I wonder where the arched passage leads to?

Looking through these old photos is giving me urge to travel.

The tunnels go under the rail tracks.

I was born in London... I was one of the very first to go in the HMS Belfast before the general public..... as they were using students to try the tours for it out on. I was doing my training at Guy's Hospital.

Heck... that was 40 years ago....
