Two views of the lighthouse. I like the more numerous stars in the first but the fog in the second adds something also.

I was mistaken on the last post that the light was not working.

I like the clarity and deep blue of the top one -- but I also like seeing the water in the bottom one. I like the yellows.

Both are beautiful- the top part of the first one with the fog of the other would be the ultimate shot! In the shot at the top there's quite a bit of noise in the lower part.

I am always amazed to see so many stars in your sky ... and even with the light of the
lighthouse !

Both are winners. But I agree with you the one with more stars would have the edge initially. But the overall light on the second image makes me say it has the edge. . Lovely shot Tim Regards Tess

I like this version for the better contrast and clarity. I sometimes like fog as well, it's romantic and mysterious -- but if given the choice and the fog is not having the double advantage of covering up some grossly prosaic and shaby areas besides the main motive or somesuch I do prefer the clear and less damp nights in real life and a tad more detail in architectural photos also...

These both look magnificent when blown up and it's difficult to pick a winner. I think I'll settle for a tie!
