Na Drini Cuprija - Die Brücke über die Drina 

Die berühmte Brücke bei Visegrad, Verbindung zweier Kulturen, von Ivo Andric in unnachahmlich realistischer Weise in Weltliteratur verwoben.......

Ich habe sie 1980 aufgenommen, als noch keiner fragte, wer Kroate, Serbe oder Bosnier ist.........

I am very surprised that you know for Ivo Andric. The book -The bridge over the Drina river- is not easy one, it is great and very good to material to understand at least a little bit Balkan.

Hvala ti, Peter. Here in Austria this book is well known, as far as I remember, we even learned something about it at school. And it is one of my favorites, I did not read it only once!

Danke Euch! Ja, Stefan , manche Stellen sind kaum zu lesen, so realistisch, ich denke besonders an eine, die selbst einen Mediziner innerlich zerschneidet. Aber das Leben ist schon so und der Mensch ist leider auch so.................zit auch: Brecht lt "1000715"

Diese Brücke in Visegrad (erbaut 1571 bis 77) steht noch und zählt seit 2007 zum Weltkulturerbe.
Die ebenfalls sehr berühmte Brücke über die Neretva in Mostar (stari most= alte Brücke), die Du auch in diesem Album findest, wurde hingegen im Krieg zerstört und vor einigen Jahren nach dem alten Vorbild wiederaufgebaut.
