Built in 1885 it is the world's longest fence 5,614 km. It runs across the vast Australian deserts and is a pest exclusion measure to keep wild dogs (dingos) out of South Eastern Australia. -

Remote Lahaul in the high Indian Himalaya borders on Tibet. It is difficult of access, and sees few tourists. The roads are execrable, often non-existent....and a constant source of unexpected adventures. Tis truck did not make it! -
