Singapore parks have permanent poles erected for people to take their caged birds for a walk on Sundays. The cages hang on the poles for the birds to sing in fresh air, while the owners sit and chat.

Thar Desert. Dhorimanna. These women begged me to take their picture and insisted on 'posing' for me. I love their jewellery, clothes and colour..A photo is seen a very SERIOUS, no smiling, sort of business.

On voit souvent les vaches aux rues qui mangent du carton, du plastique et du papier. They are very hungry as there is no grass or other food for them, so they become scavengers and theives, or people feed them chapattis to bring themselves good religious merit.
