In the Sky
For all the meteorological and astronomical shots I take from time to time.
How many?
A great sky at Wollongong helped by a moist tropical airstream. In the midst of it, the local parachutists were doing a jump. How many can you count? (You may need to enlarge to see them).

Near full
It's to be a full moon tonight, but I took this two nights ago when the slight remaining shadow gives a little more contour interest.

Goodbye Judith
I was very saddened to hear on this evening's news of the passing of Judith Durham, a great singer who became famous as part of the group "The Seekers". Here's a link to one of their chart topping songs. This sunset photo was taken on our former rural property and the higher clouds are Lenticular clouds, formed in mountain wind waves.
Sydney Sunrise
Taken with a camera borrowed from a friend, shortly before a kayak trip on Sydney Harbour. Despite the slight blur (slow shutter) I think this still looks good viewed large.
Clouds and fence
After a cold front passed up the east coast of Australia the weather cleared onshore, but these large cumulus and cumulonimbus (anvil) clouds were still offshore.
Wishing everyone a Happy Fence Friday and an enjoyable weekend to follow.
