Coming in low
Taken at our former rural property. This is a Cessna aircraft flying very low indeed to check the power lines. It was literally following the contours of the ground - in the PiP it is seen having "climbed the hill". I was prompted to post this because yesterday I saw a helicopter doing inspections, from a greater height and with an observer equipped with a camera and very long lens - a somewhat safer process.

Interesting. The only planes that fly that low here are the crop dusters and they sometimes fly under the power lines.
