Stunning ferns. I've never seen them in this size.
Why do the tree tops appear violet?

The leaves of these eucalypts are a grey/green. I'm using a graduated ND filter here, which does introduce a slight tinting and that's probably what you are seeing. I'm currently away from home using a laptop and don't notice it.

I see, Yes, I know this effect of color-shift when using a CPL.

A very unique wild forest, for me.
My first thought, being in central California, was "who planted those eucs?"
My daughter passed behind me and said, "who planted those eucs?"

LOL at the botanical confusion. :) I tend to feel lost when I don't see them in some form.
