Yellow Thornbill

Yellow Thornbill
When we lived in the mountains, it was difficult photographing these little thornbills: not only were they small, but they rarely sat long enough, constantly flitting. Fortunately they were nearly always around, so there were plenty of opportunities.

Tim Hanko, Antonio Zepeda, ~ erin ~, Dynamo and 4 other people have particularly liked this photo

Love the piercing eye. Do not take small birds lightly. They too were once dinosaurs!

Thank you very much everyone, for your kind comments. If the little thornbird was here and able to understand them, I'm sure it would skip around in circles also. :) They really are very cheerful little things.
