A fantastic angle, and looks superb in black and white,
it really suits the subject, a great capture. Well done.

Oh that's really fine :) What immediately strikes me here is how close this cockpit is to those of the aircraft of the previous twenty years (a few of which actually had steering wheels :) ). The whole mechanical ethos, with a certain robust yet craftsmanly crudity, in which each part is made to fit (rather like a then-contemporary Leica), was soon to give way to a more exact but less stirring precision. I think this is beautiful: it captures the power, the aspiration, the spirit of a time in which the man at the wheel was still the most important thing, and there was still the wind in one's face!. Fabulous :)

I have to agree about the car, from a time when it was indeed about the man behind the wheel - none of the modern F1 electronics with teams of engineers monitoring everything in real time!
