Mechanical things have always fascinated me, and this one is a real beauty. I have a lathe and milling machine to make parts for the vintage motorcycles that I restore. Not a living, but just a serious and fun hobby. When I look at something like this I am struck by both its beauty and sophistication at the same time. Lovely shot, my friend.

Merci a toi. C'est un Télégraphe électrique. Didid dahdid. ;)

Le 20 juin 1840, un brevet est accordé pour l'invention du télégraphe électrique pour lequel il met au point un code original de transmission, le code Morse, via la transcription en une série de points et de traits des lettres de l'alphabet, des chiffres et de la ponctuation courante. Le point est une impulsion brève et le trait une impulsion longue. (wiki.fr)
