I departed Flickr along with a group of my friends after the Yahoos took over.
I still have an account there, but no plans to go back,
I will go where John Fitzgerald goes ...
(sorry, too early in the morning in California for me to write this in German as well ...)

Ah, yes. I will be sad to see this group and iPernity go. Yet, I also have less and less time for photography, so for me it's fitting, in a way, to step back.

Ah, we depend on a rusty anchor? Symbolic of the times, methinks.

Everything I post these days is symbolic. I'm not the only one. Been enjoying some of the dictionary.com "words of the day" since the election: Faustian, schlockmeister, sycophant, anathema ... I'm waiting for "abomination" and "hungry ghost."

I did it too...but flickr is such a cold and unpersonal place...too many people, no personal messages or at least I did not find the way... I will keep here as long as it lasts...
