oh Sarah, this is so beautiful... but I am so sorry to say that I had to delete it from the Art of the Mundane group, no living things are allowed, (not as the focus of the shot anyway)

This would have gone in one of the Whoa! galleries I used to keep on Flickr. The criterion for entry was that when I first saw a photo I said "Whoa!", aloud. Very striking. The petals look like velvet. Well seen and captured.
