London Medley

A medley of songs and sounds related to London. In order, you hear the chimes and striking of Big Ben, Doris Day singing a piece Gershwin's "A Foggy Day in London Town", Richard Thompson singing a piece of "The Sights and Sounds of London Town", Julie Andrews singing a snip of Noel Coward's "London Pride", and a bit of the Spinners (the Liverpool Spinners that is) singing the first verse of "Jack-of-All-Trades". The pieces are separated by a bit more of Big Ben, and some sounds recorded in London and borrowed from "The Busker Symphony". (Check it out on YouTube!) The whole medley closes with the sound of an underground train rumbling underground, clipped from the very end of "This City Never Sleeps" by the Eurythmics from their album "Sweet Dreams (are made of this)".
