Jay (Garrulus glandarious) looks for food Nov 22 2012
The Jay is the smallest member of the Crow family in Europe. it is also the only colourful one unless you consider the Magpie too. Photographed on my Patio using Canon EOS 400D SLR and Tamron AF 70/300 mm Tele-Macro distance 5 metres through glass door.

A magpie is a lovely bird, but it doesn't have the blue parts in it's plummage. Great shot
