The 'thing' is casting a shadow on the ground, and from the shadows it seems there's two more next to it...
It must be something lying on the ground. We see you taking this picture from quite some distance, so I think a light bulb is too small to be reflecting from such a distance. It must be bigger...and hollow if I'm not mistaken.
That narrows it down to about a zillion things, doesn't it. Damn girl, you'll keep me awake tonight.
