?german glass added c.1838 to the east window, moved to the south aisle when the church was rebuilt. the story that this comes from the clerestory of cologne cathedral makes no sense, the dates don't fit and the backgrounds, canopies and tracery lights seem to be english. the canopies look like they could just be english neo-tudor work of the 1830s, (though why is the left one different ?) whereas the tracery and its glass looks to date from pearson's moving and altering the window c.1882, and the background also looks too sophisticated for the earlier date.
