This shot was a dark, overlooked, jpeg sitting in a folder on my HD, but I liked the composition. This is the result of processing in LR.

Kohlenschaufler, Marco, Annemarie and 2 other people have particularly liked this photo

I like how the space is broken up in the photo with the water occupying the bottom portion and the color banding between gold and almost a robins egg blue.. it's very appealing, nicely done.

Thank you Michael. I like the 'smokin'' work you've been doing lately. Will pay more attention now.

Seen In My Opinion: this image contains very powerful lines and very striking colours and it is obvious why you were drawn to push the shutter. That said it can be seen to have two halves - one busy with the detail of water reflection and mountainside and tree while the other much less so with the vivid blue of the lake foreground. I believe that these halves are too powerful to sit alongside one another and I think I would have cropped say 35% off the bottom and maybe 10% off the right hand side. Its a lovely idea though.

My eye was drawn to the reflection through the tree's branches and the lovely colours.
Then the tree as it does hold a very large part of the picture. Is that a beach I see in the distance?
The detail on the tree is very good. A lovely quiet picture with a great composition, colour and character. Well Taken.
