"From Farm to Fork" -- directly marketing to their potential customers on the city street is easier than waiting for them to drive the backroads to find you. For this, I don't know the reason but nearly everywhere I drove, the side of the roads were full of these colorful blooming bushes. Typically white and some in blue. In some areas, you have alleys or alamedas with tall trees covering the top of the road and again bushes and wall lining the side. . Living in a valley means, you only get to see the sun or moon after it climbed high enough to peek over the 3000...4500ft tall hills. Only when traveling, do I get to see the actual sun- or moonrise (or setting sun & moon). This was a particularly beautiful occasion and location with nice sailboats, distant clouds and a perfect pink sky. . Not expecting a lunar eclipse, I initially blamed clouds and haze. But at this point, I doubted that and looked for another explanation. And it turned out, I was at the right time to see a partial lunar eclipse during moonrise. As I often watch eclipses, I am aware of the schedule in California and US west-coast -- but I did not check the astronomy calendar for events happening in the middle of the Atlantic ocean and the Azores. . The town of Paradise, CA sits on top of the plateau I'm standing, approx just 3 miles away and last November the "Camp Fire" completely flattened the town and another 150.000 acres(approx 600 square kilometers). But the fire did not run across this canyon. You can see some fire damage but not utter devastation that occurred elsewhere en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camp_Fire_(2018) .
