A Rough Ride through town (Route 66)

This was a rough ride in more than one way.
Driving through this weather and snow, only having 2WD and summer tires, was the FIRST part. All along the way, I was told the road to Grand Canyon would be clear and no problem. At first I doubted it ... just look at the snow covered road in this town.
In the end, there was no problem
.

The SECOND part of this rough road began when I wanted to edit & upload all that 4k footage I had gathered from the dash-cam. That meant finding a suitable tool for editing videos.
For now, OPENSHOT & SHOTCUT appear to be sufficient to manage the basic tasks I'm asking for.
www.openshot.org free, open source, cross-platform video editor
www.shotcut.org free, open source, cross-platform video editor
kdenlive.org/en free, open source, cross-platform video editor also available for W10

The above sequence originally was shot in 4k using the small cam on the dashboard. In hindsight I think, I better had used 2k or regular 1080p.
As you can see, this sequence was comprised of several shot and one of them even had to be sliced to cut the long wait while pumping gas (I forgot to stop recording)
As part of the post-processing I applied some brightness & contrast changes before rendering.
And I doubled the playback speed to further shorten the playback time.
All that I was able to run on a low-end laptop and OPENSHOT.
