you aren't smart . you never were
you're always barely making it past
just to reach the next bending corner
no one has ever called you "special"
or "talented" as far as you remember
but you dont . you wouldn't
there was no one to read you stories late at night
and you'd knock the jaw right off the toothfairy if you ever met her
you're who they call a basket case
behind your back, with that emotionless pity nod
your life's fucked . and they all say it is
they don't care . neither do you
because you're doing

just fine.
